Flashback Friday: Balloon Paradise

June 27, 2014

A SERIES OF POSTS THAT ARE SUPER BACKDATED

During the March holidays, I had tagged along with my parents and sister to Marina Square. While we were on our way to the food court for lunch, I saw from a distance what looked like a balloon sculpture…

Singapore’s Tallest Balloon Sculpture

After lunch, we went straight to the exhibition to have a look around. I was in complete awe! It’s so amazing to see all these were created with the use of balloons! Balloons!

Must have a shot with the cute rabbit!

Nakayla was pretty fascinated by them too

Took this Tiger sculpture for Blake. Hehe!

Inside the Pirate Ship, there’s more!

The balloon exhibition was such an pleasant surprise, and it made a normal trip out to the mall a little more special!

And from the looks of it, Marina Square has been holding similar balloon sculpture displays – all record breaking, by the way – during the March school holidays since 2012 (which hole did I buried my head in!?). I’m definitely going to keep a lookout for it next year! Hehe.
