When the kids talk
Over the weekend, we brought the children to their first studio photoshoot. After which, we visited Funan DigitaLife Mall to check out some of the toys and collectibles stores.
On our way to the MRT station to head home, Nakayla fell asleep in Sean’s arms. At the same time, Blake was also getting too tired to walk any further.
Me: Blake, Mommy carry you, ok? Meimei (little sister) is asleep. If Daddy pass meimei to mommy, she might wake up crying.
Blake: No, mommy! Cannot carry Blake, ok? Blake is too heavy!
Me: You’ll never be too heavy for mommy, darling.
Blake: Cannot mommy! Blake is too heavy! Only big daddy can carry, ok? Mommy carry Nakayla.
Obviously, we had no choice but to let him have his way. But honestly, my darling boy, you’ll really never be too heavy for mommy to carry 🙂
