The Kidz Academy is back this June school holidays from 9 to 11 June 2017 at Suntec Singapore Halls 404 to 406. This year, the three-day event is going local, with many new additions showcasing Singapore’s rich history.
Some of the highlights include live theatrical performances based on Singapore’s urban legends, a colouring and art contest with prizes worth more than $2,400 in total to be won, and back-to-school games, activities and food from the 60s to 90s – a fun way to show the children how we used to have fun growing up without all the fancy gadgets of today!
There will also be fund raising efforts for The Straits Times Pocket Money Fund and The Salvation Army Singapore. Students will be selling their own creations made from mostly environmentally-friendly materials and, through The Kidz Academy Book Cart, sell second-hand children books from local and international authors at a fixed price of $2.90 each respectively.
The Kidz Academy 2017 will be on from 9 to 11 June 2017 at Suntec Singapore Halls 404 – 406. Opens from 10am to 9pm on Friday and Saturday, 10am to 8pm on Sunday. Admission is free.
