MASEGO: The Safari Spa

October 28, 2014

Media Invite

A girls’ night out was in order when I received the invitation to participate in a Halloween spa party by Singapore’s first (and possibly only) safari-themed spa, Masego!

The night was a definite eye-opener for me.

The whole vibe of the place was just raging with the Halloween/Tribal theme! It also helped that the staff were all dressed up and so full of life! My younger sister had even asked me more than once, “Where do they get the energy from?” Haha!

Here’s a look through in photos of our adventure in “The Secrets of Masego”:

Love these cute little cups that hold the welcome drinks!

First up, tarot card reading

After we had our cards read, we proceeded to have our skull massage which seemed to be combined with the ear candling. It was nice and relaxing. So good that my mom wanted to go for a second round! Honestly, I wouldn’t mind either! Hehe.

The mom and big sis getting hand paraffin done

My younger sister called this the shedding process

After which, my mom and elder sis proceeded to get some nail art done…

…while my younger sister and I enjoyed some of the lovely performances

Saw an empty seat and decided to go for it too!

While we were there, we were encouraged to take as many photos as we wanted and put them up on Instagram, then head over to the photo printing booth to collect our printouts!

To add on to the already awesome atmosphere, there were tons of head dresses, props, and two 3D photo taking locations (not just a flat backdrop!) for you to dress up and take as many photos as you want!

I personally like this getup of mine! Looks super cool!

As the night wore on, so did our tired souls. We called it a night after we completed all that we had aimed to go for, and more. Hehe. It’s been a while since we had a girls’ night out like this. We could sure use more of it!
