Bare Your Sole 2015

April 21, 2015

Media Invite

Bare Your Sole is back for the 7th year running!

Bare Your Sole brings together people from all walks of life to raise awareness for the plight of a large number of people living in poverty without the ability to afford basic amenities, such as shelter or footwear. Funds raised from the 2km and 4km barefoot charity walkathon supports Habitat for Humanity Singapore’s Project HomeWorks programme, which is a local initiative aimed at improving the living conditions of the elderly, the sick and the physically challenged living in one-room flats in Singapore. Over S$300,000 was raised from last year’s edition of Bare Your Sole, where more than 5,000 participants turned up to show their support.

I had a tremendous time with my mom and siblings last year and I’m absolutely psyched to be invited to this year’s walk!

And this year, we’ll be doing a 3-generation walk! Sean, Blake, Nakayla, my mom and myself will be heading down together! 😀

Besides the walkathon, this year’s Bare Your Sole will also feature a variety of activities ranging from flying fox (!!!) to rock-climbing wall, a Habitat Village and a Kids’ Corner.

And for those who prefer to be entertained, there will be martial arts demonstration and musical performances too.

Bare Your Sole 2015 sure has the makings of a fun-filled family event for everyone of all ages!

And in case you’re still hesitating, here’s why you should join Bare Your Sole 2015!
