SG50 August Giveaway: Pilates Fitness

August 17, 2015

Sponsored

I’ve been a really blessed girl to have continuous support from Pilates Fitness. And every single one of them I’ve met have been super friendly, encouraging and motivating! It’s a really great place to get moving and start working out to get in shape!

I still remember my first class. I wasn’t sure what to expect then, but I enjoyed myself so much that I just kept wanting more!

And with encouragement from the instructors, I’ve gone on to try more difficult sets.

It really took a lot out of me to trust myself enough to do some of these exercises, and every time I’m too scared (cue nervous laugh), the instructors will slowly ease me into it such that I don’t feel like I’m going to fall! I feel so good after succeeding every single time!

And if you’re keen on trying, but not sure if you should… Well, good news!

Disclaimer: Pilates Fitness has been sponsoring me classes for the purpose of reviews.

  1. Current routine is no exercise (tsk tsk!), though a few years back I swam daily. Then I developed a back ache. Hope pilates will be gentler on the body while yet effective for weigh loss.

    1. Haha! I like how you’re being so honest, Robert! I only started to swim recently cos my children loves it. But then again, I don’t really swim swim… I’m mostly just soaking in the water while the children play. Haha!

  2. Do not really have any current exercise routine, only exercise is to carry my girl and walk up the stairs

Hope to win this and make me become healthier n slimmer

    1. Enjoyment is definitely needed when it comes to exercising! When it’s gone, it can get a little sian. Hehe. I just hope I don’t break my momentum!

  3. I badly need to resume my exercise regime since giving birth to three kids. Hope to go back to pilates, which I was doing a lot of before childbirth, to help me lose some weight and tone up.

  4. Im currently doing mainly cardio exercises like jogging on a treadmill and cycling since I am trying to lose weight. I hope to achieve a better physic via the pilates class

  5. Exercise??? Hmmm… does house chores n carrying my kids count??? Lols…
would love to get back into Pilates to help strengthen my back n improve my posture…

  6. Prone to 5 minute fevers. Yes, that’s me! Used to gym twice a week, 3-4 km on treadmill, but kept getting a strain in my right leg and so I let that slip. Also used to do classical Indian dance but kept getting injury too. Hoping to give Pilates a go and that its working around my injury will make this a more sustainable exercise regimen that will banish my 5 minute fever tendencies forever! Pick me, pick me!

    1. Oh dear! That’s quite bad to be suffering from one injury after another! Pilates should be able to help because it started out as a form of exercise for people who are bed-ridden!
