It started with researching on potential places we can bring the children to on our weekend learning journeys. One potential location led to another. Then it sprang to mind that I’ve brought the children to Singapore Discovery Centre before. But a quick look through my blog and social media left me feeling puzzled… Why weren’t there any photos of our visits? I distinctively remember bringing the children there – we took photos, we ate and we even watched a show!
I was completely defeated when I could not even locate the said photos, that I’m sure we took, in my mobile phone and in cloud storage. Could I have really remembered wrongly?
Thankfully, my memory isn’t as bad as I thought!
After a good night’s sleep, I eventually found the photos in a microSD card I previously used (and in the cloud storage too! 🤦♀️). That’s when I saw more and more photos of our earlier outings that were posted only on my social media.
It’s been a while since I’ve felt like writing anything on the blog. Posting on social media is just so much faster and more convenient than putting together a blog post!
However, with our newfound weekend routine of bringing the children out to explore, I thought maybe it’s time to start writing again. I will be able to write a little more in detail of our trips and maybe share some information with whomever that might chance upon our posts.
So, in an attempt to pick up from where I left off, I went to check the last outing post I did… It was about Blake’s birthday. That’s way back in September 2019!
It might have been two years since, and so much has changed because of covid. But, the present does not take away what we experienced in the past. I will still write about the places we have visited back in 2019, all the way up to the present. At the same time, make plans to re-visit some of these places, just to see if anything has changed since our last visit.
I’m somewhat excited to start writing again!
