Pilates Fitness: My Favourite Class

September 18, 2014

After exploring some of the classes available at Pilates Fitness, I developed preferences for certain classes, and I find myself loving Cardio Jumpboard class a lot!

Sure, it left me with jelly legs after each lesson, but I’ve also never felt so good as well! Working out on the reformer, “jumping” up and down is truly an amazing feeling.

Stretching our muscles out

The most basic jump

Between sets, we work on our arms too

Trying a new jump

We had to clap our feet in between jumps!

More stretching done between jump sets

Working on coordination this time round!

Every week, there’ll be something new to look forward to, new challenges to work out muscles I never knew existed. And with each week, the difficulty level will increase, adding more movements per set to drive my body to work at its fullest.

There were times I had to stop to correct my position (over straining my back), and there were times I was unstoppable! Days like the latter, I find myself pretty amazing. Haha! Yes, those are definitely feel good moments for me!

Over the course of three months, I realize that I’m not as well coordinated as I thought I was, but I’m determined to be better! That’s the only way I can dance like Britney Spears (before her marriage to Kevin Federline)! And I plan to do that! Soon! ish.

Wish me luck!
